WEATHER TO WATCH: Showers, storms coming to NYC Thursday

NOW: A strong cold front is expected to bring wet weather on Thursday. 
NEXT: Friday brings a sneak peek of autumn weather with highs in the mid-60s. 
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says a strong cold front will bring showers/storms Thursday. Severe storms will stay south of New York City. A few downpours will cause minor flooding and puddles across the city.
Hurricane Fiona is moving northward into warmer waters and expected to intensify a bit in the next 24 hours. The current track has Fiona 200 miles west of Bermuda. Bermuda will experience tropical storm conditions of 58 mph+ wind gusts and heavy rain. As Fiona continues its northeastern path, we will experience high surf and dangerous rip currents at ocean facing beaches this weekend. On Sunday, it will impact parts of Canada by this weekend as a hurricane.
Overnight: Mostly cloudy, mild and muggy. Lows near 66.
Thursday (FIRST DAY OF FALL): Showers/storms. More clouds than sun, windy. Noticeably humid. Highs near 75. Lows near 52.
Friday: Mostly sunny, cooler and comfy. Fall chill. Highs near 64. Lows near 51.
Saturday: Sun and clouds, mild and nice. Highs near 69. Lows near 58.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, seasonable. Increasing clouds late. Highs near 75. Lows near 63.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with the chance of showers. Highs near 74. Lows near 60.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, chance of showers. Highs near 72. Lows near 58.
