A Web series filmed in East New York's notorious Pink Houses seeks to show the harsh realities of living in a New York City project building to its growing online audience.
"Project Heat" offers a glimpse inside one of the city's toughest housing projects.
Tiffon "Pop" Dunn, the series creator, says his show sheds light on some major issues like drug dealing and armed robberies.
But it also depicts the simple things in a hard life -- ranging from love triangles to financial woes.
"This is not going on just in Pink Houses," Dunn says of the issues his series covers. "This is going on in every project around the five boroughs and probably around this world."
The scripted series, now in its second season, is filmed with a single camera and microphone setup inside the housing complex. Dunn's friends play each role.
