A big parade makes its way through part of the borough this weekend, shutting down some local streets.
The Puerto Rican State Parade and Festival will be held Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. During that time, Jackson Street will be closed between Humboldt Street and Graham Avenue. The parade will continue south on Graham Avenue all the way to Debevoise Street.
The Brooklyn Bridge will also be shut down from midnight Saturday until Sunday at 6 a.m.
Alternate side of the street parking rules will be in effect citywide Saturday.
Mass transit riders should anticipate plenty of weekend track work, and double check all schedules before heading out.
