The West Indian American Day Carnival Association held its annual reggae music event in Crown Heights Sunday as part of its Labor Day weekend events.

The day saw performances from artists YG Marley, Sizzla Kalonji and more as crowds turned out and turned up to see them perform.

"It's the largest festival of its kind in North America. It's our biggest event, our signature event and we are so grateful to continue the legacy of those who came before take it to a whole new level," said organizer and WIADCA Vice President Reah Smith.

The event also gave vendors a chance to show off their unique diversity of foods and merchandise, including costumes for sale for Monday's parade down Eastern Parkway.
