A foraging tour in Prospect Park on Sunday sent visitors searching for vegetables, mushrooms and nuts.
The tour was let by "Wildman" Steve Brill.
During the tour, Brill pointed out edible plants, plants that can be used as medicine and special herbs for making tea.
He says the park is a great place to go foraging in the fall.
"You wouldn't always know you can forage right here in the city," he says. "It's exciting normally. You might think of forging out in the woods or out in the natural area, but this is just as good."
