A Grammy Award-winning and Brooklyn-based musician is headlining the largest holiday festival in New York.
Tim Kubart is taking his act on stage this Monday at the Lincoln Square Winter's Eve Festival.
Kubart will be performing at Kids Central with his band the Space Cadets.
"Shows aren't just for kids. It's for the whole family. We like to say it's all ages entertainment and families can all kind of get involved together and smile and dance together and leave with the memory," Kubart says.
Kubart creates Indie-pop children's music and composes for "Sesame Street." He is also working on his first book and says in everything he works on, community and family take center stage.
"It's a really great challenge to perform for children because you have to figure out how to keep kids engaged the entire time," he says.
The Lincoln Square Winter's Eve Festival will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday night.
