Williamsburg company uses ‘green thumb’ to bring nature to the city
One company in Williamsburg is moving Brooklyn outdoors, using their green thumbs to show how you too can be surrounded by nature in the city.
Greenery Unlimited all started with one idea that bloomed into so much more.
"We were upstate on a hike last year sitting off on a lake kind of taking in the warm breeze and we asked ourselves why we couldn't experience that every day indoors in Brooklyn,” says Adam Besheer, co-owner of Greenery Unlimited.
Co-owners Besheer and Rebecca Bullene of Greenery Unlimited, an offshoot of Greenery NYC, say the company offers “the perfect plant.”
"People in urban spaces really need plants more than anybody else. We're so disconnected from nature here,” says Bullene.
So they're using their green thumbs to bring nature to New Yorkers.
"People can really experience the majesty of nature indoors and hopefully inspire them to bring some plants home,” says Bullene.
