A fire tore through two Williamsburg buildings Saturday morning, leaving a family homeless and destroying two businesses and a clinic, police say.
Officials say the flames broke out around 9 a.m. and quickly spread throughout the building. Firefighters spent more than three hours battling the blaze.
Firefighters say the scale of the damage slowed their search for people inside the structure. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries but were treated at the scene.
Fire officials say the cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
