P.S. 147 in Williamsburg celebrated on Thursday 10 years of providing hands-on climate education.

Students and staff also revealed their new, state-of-the-art hydroponic classroom.

With the advanced farming technology, students in pre-school through fifth grade learn in-depth lessons on sustainability, farming and climate change.

The school's program also helps to combat climate change right in the borough.
