A Bensonhurst Starbucks employee was seen by witnesses beating a customer who refused to wear a mask or leave the store.
Witnesses say that they saw arguing between the customer and several baristas. Then, the customer was punched by an off-duty, also maskless, Starbucks employee.
In video obtained by News 12, one of the employees is heard saying, "He works here!" during the fight. Good Samaritans broke up the fight and say that police and EMTs arrived shortly after.
Police haven't confirmed details regarding the incident, but several witnesses tell News 12 two Starbucks employees were arrested.
