Police say a manhunt is underway for the driver of a rented BMW that slammed into a row of cars in Bedford-Stuyvesant early Saturday morning.
Witnesses say it happened at around 5 a.m. The BMW X-6 was going about 80 mph, witnesses estimate, when it struck a parked pickup truck and spun out of control, crashing into several other cars.
One woman who lives on Hancock Street says she awoke to a loud noise and found her car had been totaled. Car parts were strewn all over the road following the crash.
No one was hurt. Police say they are still working to identify suspects in the case.
