Police are searching for a woman who they say attacked an elderly man inside a Fort Greene restaurant.

Police say the suspect and the 87-year-old victim both walked into a pizzeria just before 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

They say the man was reportedly smoking a cigarette and the woman who was with her child - became angry with him.

Police say the man left the restaurant to finish smoking.

They say when he came back to apologize, the woman allegedly pushed him into a door, causing him to injure his back and leg.
