A woman was severely injured when she was struck by a car in Williamsburg early Sunday morning.
Police say the incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. near Manhattan and Meeker avenues, by McCarren Park in Williamsburg. The driver allegedly struck the woman while heading north on Manhattan Avenue and trying to make left. The driver allegedly took off after hitting the woman.
The 26-year-old victim was found unconscious with severe trauma to her body.
Police are looking for a black Ford sedan.
