Police are on the hunt for a driver involved in a hit-and-run that sent one woman to the hospital.
It happened at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday near West Second Street and Avenue Z in Gravesend.
Police say a 31-year-old woman was walking her dog when it was struck by a vehicle that then took off. As she went to pick up the dog, a second vehicle hit her and also fled.
Police say the second vehicle was a black Jeep Wrangler.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
