Woman wanted for choking 13-year-old girl on G train in Williamsburg

Police say the attack happened just before 8 a.m. on Nov. 17 near the Metropolitan Avenue station.

The NYPD is looking for a woman who choked a 13-year-old girl aboard a G train in Williamsburg.

Police say the attack happened just before 8 a.m. on Nov. 17 near the Metropolitan Avenue station.

A woman grabbed the girl’s throat and applied pressure, making it difficult for her to breathe.

EMS treated the girl at the scene for injuries to her neck.

Police say the woman, in her 20s, ran from the train car. She was last seen wearing all black clothing with a pink jacket.

The NYPD asks anyone with information to call its Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
