Bronx and city leaders have announced the launch of a new weekend shuttle service providing Woodlawn residents with access to public transportation.
The Taxi and Limousine Commission will provide temporary service to and from the Woodlawn station, costing riders $2 and running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Residents say the shuttle service is long overdue. The service comes more than a year since weekend bus service along Katonah Avenue was eliminated.
