Cities in Florida claim four of the top 10 spots. Closer to home, New York City comes in 146th out of 150 cities.
The ranking takes into account factors such as the cost of living and recreational activities.
Some Brooklyn residents say they plan to flee the city when it is time for them to retire, but others tell News 12 they plan to stay put.
