Auto makers are using new technology to give parents more control over their children's vehicle.
Ford is rolling out new technology that will allow parents to control the maximum speed of the car and limit the volume on the audio system.
General Motors is letting parents track the location of their child's car including sending them a text if a teen drives outside of a certain area.
News 12 spoke with residents to find out what they think of this driving technology.
Many residents say they think the security features are a great thing.
One resident says she wouldn't buy a car for her children with those restrictions.
