Today is a day most people regard as unlucky but why do people fear Friday the 13th so much?
According to the Telegraph, the day might have biblical origins because of claims Eve bit the apple from the tree of knowledge on a Friday.
Historians say the it is also the same day the great flood began and lastly there were 13 people present at Jesus' last supper the day before his crucifixion on good Friday.
The Telegraph reports it could also be a numbers game, historically the number 13 has always been seen as an outlier.
The report says the number 13 is often left out of house numbers and hotel floors.
