In the first-ever presidential podcast interview, President Barack Obama used the N-word to convey a message on racism in this country.
The president said that America's long history of racism has not been overcome, and that's it's not just a matter of it being unacceptable to say the racial epithet in public.
News 12 asked Brooklyn residents what they thought of Obama's remarks.
Many said that given the context of his response, using the word to make a point was appropriate. Others didn't think it was OK, regardless of the circumstances.
