A new study found that iPhone users functioned better when their smartphones were with them.
According to researchers, separation anxiety affects brain function, making it more difficult for people to perform tasks, such as solving a puzzle, when their phones are taken away.
Participants in the study also had elevated heart rates and blood pressure without their phones.
News 12 asked Brooklyn residents if they feel anxious without having technology at their fingertips. Many had split reactions to the study.
