The honor for this year's Time magazine Person of the Year goes to the people leading the fight against Ebola.
"The Ebola Fighters" are gracing multiple covers for the magazine, which says they "risked and persisted, sacrificed and saved."
News 12 decided to hit the street to find out who else viewers think should have received the award for 2014. Some said the protesters in Ferguson, Missouri, while another person suggested just an everyday good Samaritan caught in the act of helping someone.
Final candidates for Person of the Year who didn't make the cut include Russian President Vladimir Putin, singer Taylor Swift and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
