Chef Tom Colicchio is the latest high-profile restaurateur to switch to a "no-tip" system.
He began the practice Thursday during his lunch service at Craft in Manhattan.
He says that if it's a success, he'll make the change at dinner time too.
Colicchhio says that the prices on the menu are higher so that he can pay his staff a steady salary -- but patrons will not be expected to tip afterward.
News 12 Brooklyn asked borough residents what they thought about the move to separate table service from tipping.
