A 3,000-square-foot mural that recently popped up in Williamsburg offers a historical perspective of Brooklyn.
The huge artwork covers the southern side of a new rental building at 250 North 10th and Roebling streets. The piece was a collaboration with the development company LCOR and world-renowned artist Mr. Brainwash.
Mr. Brainwash designed the actual image and local artists transferred it on to the wall. The piece also has the artist's signature motto, "Life is beautiful."
The large-scale, hand-painted mural took more than two weeks to complete.
