A TV actress and some WWE superstars visited the Navy Yard Boys and Girls Club to emphasize a message against bullying.
'This Is Us' actress Chrissy Metz and WWE star Carmella were part of the activity that began with children writing down some things they like, such as sports or food. The activity was a way to show the students that while they may be different, they share the same interests.
The group then gathered for an anti-bullying rally.
The issue resonates with another WWE star. Ali says as a kid he was bullied and didn't know what to do about it. He wanted to explain to students that what he does in the ring is not the right approach to dealing with a bully.
The Be A STAR (Show Tolerance and Respect) Bullying Prevention Program aims to teach people to treat others as equals. The program started in 2011 and has reached 500,000 kids across the world.
