A program in Williamsburg is showing young women how music, art and fashion can help boost their self-esteem.
Young women from around the city came together at M.S. 318 in Williamsburg for a special day that focused on the arts. The program was organized by the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation.
"The program means so much to me because a lot of girls don't open up in front of people and I think this program really helps with that," said student Jaylah Delgado.
The young ladies joined their peers in doing yoga, stenciling, sculpting and tie-dye.
