A grocery delivery service has been helping feed patients with chronic illnesses for nearly three decades.
God's Love We Deliver started delivering groceries to people during the height of the AIDS epidemic in 1985.
Thirty-two years later, it has branched out from exclusively helping AIDS patients to helping those who suffer from all chronic illnesses.
Brian Edwards is a recipient of the program, which includes volunteers who prepare meals for those who are sick or deliver bags of fresh produce and food to people like Edwards who are still able to cook for themselves.
Edwards first came to God's Love We Deliver seven years ago when he learned he was HIV positive.
"I was struggling, trying to make ends meet with food stamps and my budget due to being HIV positive," Edwards says.
Organizers with the not for profit say they prepare 1.7 million nutritious and medically tailored meals a year and have over tens of thousands of volunteers.
