Avenue H train station gets old-world makeover
The Avenue H train station, one of New York City's oldest subway stops, is getting an old-world makeover.
The old-fashioned porch equipped with different sized rocking chairs is part of an art installation aimed at creating an improved environment at MTA stops. The chairs will be bolted to the ground to prevent theft.
Artist Ed Kopel says he is honored to be able to play a role in Brooklyn's emerging art scene.
For more information behind the art installation, visit the MTA Arts Facebook page.
