A Bay Ridge resident helped save a man's life Saturday during the deadly terror rampage in London.
Mark Kindschuh, 19, is a student at Boston College and studying abroad in London. He was in Borough Market when he heard gunshots and watched as a man with a wound in the back of his head ran inside and collapse.
Kindschuh used his belt to stop the man's bleeding and ran into the chaos to find help.
The help eventually came, and the man is expected to survive.
"His true character was demonstrated, and I love him that much more for everything he has done and I'm so, so very proud of him," says his father, Dr. Mark Kindschuh.
Kindschuh received news Monday that he is expected to be reunited Tuesday with the man he saved.
