Students at the Dimitrios and Georgia Kaloidis Parochial School in Bay Ridge are giving back to the community.
They are doing it with music, dancing and food collection for the City Harvest and the Daily News Food Drive.
The DGK dance troops and choir are putting on shows for the entire community. The choir has even made it a tradition of performing at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Emmanuel Kambouris, who sang with the choir last year at Radio City Music Hall, says it was a day he'll never forget.

“It was amazing. The audience and everything. It was the best experience ever,” says Kambouris.

The choir is also going to perform for the Greek consulate this coming week. The students tell News 12 they sing for others because of how it makes them feel.

Performing is not the only thing the students are doing this holiday season. They are also collecting food to help those in need.
By doing so, the students tell News 12 they're hoping to make the community's holidays a little bit brighter.
“Making people happy is making me happy, just knowing that people have food on the table,” says Kambouris. “It's amazing. It's a really good experience."
