An authentic Mexican spot in the Bronx has been serving up south of the boarder dishes for a decade.
A&E Tenochtitlan Deli & Taqueria is located on 2445 Creston Ave. in Fordham.
The business is run by Carlos Diaz, his wife Nancy Hernandez, and several other family members.
Diaz serves up torta, sandwiches and his customers’ favorite, pancita—a traditional Mexican soup, made with beef stomach.
He credits the soup's hot and spicy flavor to its popularity and authenticity.
Diaz says he's not done working yet and looks forward to continuing to serve food to the Bronx community.
