Brooklyn children are joining thousands across the country working to raise awareness about child hunger.
The Imagine U Freedom School in East New York organized a march to end hunger. The march started at the school on Schenk Avenue and continued through the neighborhood.
Organizers say having just one person hear their message will make a difference.
The students say it is important to spread the message of child hunger so that the issue is not forgotten.
