Crown Heights boy reunited with missing dog
After two months, a Crown Heights boy has been reunited with his beloved dog Midnight, after another family saw the dog's photo during a News 12 Brooklyn broadcast.
Eight-year-old Latrell McPhail, who has brain cancer, had longed to see Midnight again after he went missing on Dec. 20. After News 12 Brooklyn aired a story about the missing dog on Monday, Latrell's mother Alicia Powell got a phone call less than 24 hours later from a woman who said her family had the dog all this time.
The family had found Midnight at a bus stop on Classon Avenue and St. John's Place, and they say it's a "good feeling" to give Latrell his dog back.
