Flood damage leaves Red Hook residents in limbo
Vehicles that sustained flooding and debris damage from Sandy continue to be towed from the streets of Red Hook.
Residents of the low-lying community say that there is no power and cars were floating through the streets at the height of the storm.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg said that shelters will remain open until people can safely return home.
