Kingsborough Community College is in the running for top national recognition. The college has been named one of 10 finalists for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. The award highlights achievements in four areas - student learning outcomes, degree and college completion, post-graduation job placement and minority student success. Kingsborough was selected from a pool of more than 1,000 junior colleges, with the $1,000,000 grand prize being awarded next March in Washington, D.C.
