‘#Love Trump’ graffiti artist busted after tagging fake wall
The NYPD “built that wall” and netted themselves a Trump-loving graffiti artist.
According to police, graffiti reading “#Love Trump” first started appearing in January on a beam of the mezzanine at the Court Street subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.
Police then used a fake wall to corner off the area where the graffiti was showing up and were able to catch the suspect in the act.
The plywood wall was first erected on March 12. They made the arrest on the first day of the sting on March 15.
Jamie Montemarano, 43, faces charges of making graffiti, criminal mischief and possession of a graffiti instrument.
