NYPD: Death of 8-year-old in East New York deemed not suspicious; no arrests made

They say she was a resident of the second-floor apartment at 604 Hegeman Ave. where she was found.

Police say that after an investigation into the death of an 8-year-old girl in East New York, they have deemed the death not suspicious and have not made any arrests.
The NYPD has identified the child as Charlie Buie. They say she was a resident of the second-floor apartment at 604 Hegeman Ave. where she was found.
Sources say that the child suffered from asthma. The medical examiner has yet to determine the cause of death.
