Police: 2 men rob teens of $450 worth of clothing at online meetup
Police are looking for two men wanted in connection to a violent robbery in Williamsburg.
Authorities say two teenage victims met up with two unidentified men who agreed to purchase clothing from the teens after they placed an ad online.
When the individuals arrived to the meeting spot near Kent Avenue and South Ninth Street, they began to punch the victims before robbing them. They fled northbound on Berry Street with around $450 worth of clothing.
The incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 28 around 8:30 p.m.
The 15-year-old and 16-year-old victims refused medical attention at the scene.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to call police.
