A rash of residential burglaries has left a Midwood community on edge.
Police say burglars over the past month have targeted two homes on East 32nd Street and two others on East 21st Street.
Authorities say thieves broke in through an unlocked back door to homes on East 32nd Street while occupants were asleep, making off with computers and cash.
Two homes were also targeted on East 21st Street, where thieves entered through a window and stole more than $3,000 from each home, according to officials. The first burglary occurred on Sept. 19 and the other on Oct. 3.
Police have identified two possible suspects in two of the burglaries and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
