Police ID Crown Heights hit-and-run victim
A skateboarder is in critical condition after police say he was struck this morning by two hit-and-run drivers in Crown Heights. According to authorities, 25-year-old Jusheem Thorne was hit at around 2:45 a.m. near Eastern Parkway and Rochester Avenue. Witnesses say the impact of the first vehicle flung him across the intersection, where he was then hit by the second vehicle. They say they are looking for a burgundy Mercury Villager-type van and a white Acura sedan. Officials say the victim is at Kings County Hospital with serious head injuries.
