Police tell News 12 a group of teens threw some sort of pipe through a window of a Williamsburg synagogue.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. Saturday during the Sabbath as congregants were inside.

Police say the pipe came through the ground floor window of 154 Franklin Ave.

Police are now searching for at least four teenagers who they believe are around 16 years old.

They say the teens took off running south on Franklin Avenue after throwing the pipe.

The incident comes just days after someone wrote hateful messages inside a synagogue in Prospect Heights and another person drew swastikas on a building in Brooklyn Heights.

Police say it does not appear that there's any connection between the incidents.

News 12 is told there is surveillance video of this incident, however the NYPD says that video came from the congregation end and it has not officially been released yet.
