The district manager of Community Board 7 has learned he will keep his job thanks to a public vote Tuesday night.

Fernando Tirado had been accused by the board over the summer of not doing his job properly. District managers are employees of the boards they serve and can be removed from their position for almost any reason.

Community Board 7 covers several Bronx neighborhoods, including Bedford Park, Fordham and University Heights.
