Special needs kids left stranded by school bus
Some Bronx parents with special needs kids say the school year is off to a rocky start because their school buses aren't showing up.
According to Pelham Bay parent Carmella Walker, her twin boys started class at the Harry Gordon School two weeks ago, but out of those 10 days, they've only attended about three because their bus never shows.
Walker says she's contacted the school and the bus company GVC Ltd., but has not been offered an explanation.
News 12 The Bronx reached out to the bus company, but is still waiting to hear back.
