Stop light and stop sign at same intersection causes confusion
Residents in Clinton Hill say the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Emerson Place needs to be fixed, as a stop light and stop sign at the same corner is causing confusion for pedestrians.
The stop sign is meant for an adjacent service road, and the Department of Transportation (DOT) says it's necessary, as the service road is one-way. Drivers say they aren't bothered by it, but pedestrians say the two signals are confusing.
The DOT says it?s evaluating the intersection and will make changes if needed.
