A man was charged Tuesday for robbing a smoke shop in Brooklyn, police say.
Joshua Stuart, 42, was walked out of the 68th Precinct Tuesday just one day after being arrested in Gowanus.
Stuart was found outside of a Whole Foods on Third Avenue and Third Street Monday.
Stuart was wanted for allegedly shooting at officers Friday in Ellenville, in Ulster County, according to police.
However, the NYPD has only charged Stuart for the robbery they say he committed yesterday.
Investigators say he made his way to Brooklyn over the weekend and robbed a Third Avenue smoke shop at gunpoint just before 8:40 a.m. Monday.
He was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, possession of stolen property and criminal possession of controlled substance.
It is unclear when Stuart will be charged by authorities in Ellenville.
