Two NYPD officers have been suspended without pay for incidents during protests that were caught on video, according to NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea.
On May 29, a police officer pushed Dounya Zayer to the ground in Brooklyn. Zayer and her lawyers held a conference at the Barclays Center a day later calling for the officer to be arrested.

Zayer claims she suffered serious injuries from the fall, including a concussion and seizure.
The NYPD has suspended the officer without pay and is also transferring a supervisor who was there when the incident happened.
On May 30, police say an officer was seen pulling down a person's face mask and pepper spraying him.
That officer has also been suspended without pay.
Both incidents are still being reviewed for disciplinary action.
Shea released a statement saying in part: "The actions by these officers stand apart from the restrained work of the thousands of other officers who have worked tirelessly to protect those who are peacefully protesting and keep all New Yorkers safe."
He says several other incidents are being investigated and the NYPD hopes to be transparent with the public throughout the process.
Mayor Bill de Blasio also commented on the arrests, writing in a tweet, "New Yorkers deserve accountability. We can't have trust between police and the community without it."
