Hundreds of thousands of people in recent weeks have marched through the streets in honor of the Black men and women whose lives were lost at the hands of the police.
Chelsea Miller is 23 years old and Nialah Edari is 25. They are behind many of the protests.
They came together last month to organize a march to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the burning of Black Wall Street.
That's where Freedom March NYC was formed -- now a youth-led civil rights organization.
They've launched a policy platform called Five to Freedom 2020, calling for re-funding education, getting officers out of classrooms, creating a youth public advocate, a new process for police misconduct and putting an end to qualified immunity.
Through GoFundMe, they've already raised more than $50,000.
Both women say they have no plans to stop in the fight for equality and justice.
Their next organized event is scheduled for the end of June.
