A fight between two men in a Sunset Park bodega sent a toddler to the hospital with a gash on his forehead Tuesday, police say.
Investigators say one of the men threw a bottle at the other, but it hit a 3-year-old boy in the face inside the store near 60th Street and Fifth Avenue.
Investigators have identified Jorge Cayetano as the suspect accused of throwing the bottle. They say he fled the scene and remains at large.
The boy was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and is in stable condition, but News 12 is choosing not to show images of the damage to his face.
Residents of the neighborhood say Cayetano is well-known and claim he often stirs up trouble in the area.
