WHAT'S NEW: Tracking a few showers this evening with the chance for some heavier showers and possibly a rumble of thunder overnight. Timing looks to be about midnight to 6am. A few showers will linger tomorrow but we'll get some dry time as well. A little bit cooler with highs in the 60s to near 70 degrees.
WHAT'S NEXT: Thursday is trending drier with only the slight chance of a shower followed by great, warmer weather for Friday - Sunday.

OVERNIGHT: Cloudy with showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Brief heavy rain possible. Lows near 62 with southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:21.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance of rain showers, especially in Nassau County. A little bit cooler with highs near 70. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 8:28.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with the chance of a passing shower. Lows near 62. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
THURSDAY: Partly sunny. Chance of a brief shower but most of the day is dry. Highs near 74. Lows near 63.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Warmer with highs near 78. Lows near 63.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. Highs near 82. Lows near 67.
SUNDAY: Nice and warm with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 80. Lows near 67.
