In honor of Memorial Day, the men and women who fought for our country are being honored in Northern Brooklyn on Sunday.
The 16th annual Greenpoint Veteran Memorial Parade kicked off on Leonard Street on Sunday morning.
All branches of the military were represented.
The parade travels to St. Anthony's Church for Mass before continuing on to St. Stanislaus Memorial American Legion Post 1771.
Active duty troops in town for Fleet Week are treated to a banquet at the post.
